Portsea Islander, a division of Evisible Integrated Media Limited (later referred to as “we”) are committed to protecting and respecting your data and privacy.

This policy (together with our Terms of Use) sets out the basis of how any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, is processed by us. The following information should be read to understand our practices and ethos regarding your personal data and how it is managed whilst in our care.

How We Store Your Personal Data

Any information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Any payment transactions are encrypted using SSL technology and completed through our payment gateway provider PayPal. If you create a password for your account which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping your passwords confidential. We ask that you not share a password with anyone else. Transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure and although we will do our very best to protect your personal data, we cannot and do not offer a guarantee as to the security of data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once received, your information, we  use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent any unauthorised access to your data.

Access to Information

If you have registered on our site, you can review and change your personal information by logging into the site and visiting your account profile page. Or email hello@portseaislander.co.uk to request access to, correct or delete any personal information you have provided.

We cannot delete personal information except by deleting your account.

If you delete information shared in the public areas of the site it may remain available in cached and archived pages, or might have been copied or stored by other users of the site. The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act. Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We may make changes to this policy without notice to you. Please ensure that you review the policy regularly as you will be deemed to have accepted any variation if you continue to use the site after it has been posted.
